Tempered Glass for rink
Tempered glass is used along the sides of the rink. Tempered glass does two things: it allows the spectators an unobstructed view, and it withstands harsh blows from players that slam into it.
One piece of side glass is 5/8 or 1/2 of an inch thick ,Glass needs to be edged and polished . In order to avoid corners from scratching people, all glass needs safe corners (10mm round safety corners)
Hockey glass Safety
Generally speaking, tempered glass is safe for players and fans.
